Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

Earn Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Microsoft Office 2016 and 2013 (Word, Excel or PowerPoint).  Registration is required. Students may take up to three exams and in any order they choose.  To prepare for these exams, Kitsap residents with an active Kitsap Regional  Library card can take online MOS courses through Microsoft Imagine Academy at (www.krl.org/microsoft). This program is sponsored by the Washington State Library. Contact the Sylvan Way Branch at 360-405-9100 to register for these exams.

The "hidden web" lies buried within the collections for commercial web sites, libraries, archives, and museums. We will also talk about the importance of indexes that deep-link into web sites online, thus uncovering hidden gems of information that may not be found easily through a search engine query.
