Come to the library for one-on-one assistance enrolling for health insurance using WA Healthplanfinder! Certified Navigators from Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) will answer your questions, review health insurance options for you and your family, find out if you qualify for financial help, and work with you to complete the enrollment process.

Open Enrollment is November 1, 2015 to January 31, 2016.  Free, unbiased, confidential assistance will be available at four library branches through Wednesday, January 27.

Mondays 1- 4p.m., Poulsbo Library: Nov. 2-Jan. 25 (Please note: no assistance January 18)

Tuesdays 1-4 p.m., Sylvan Way Library: Nov. 17, Dec. 1 & 15, Jan. 5 & 19

Wednesdays 1-4 p.m., Bainbridge Island Library: Nov. 4-Jan. 27 (Please note: no assistance Nov. 11, Nov. 18)

I have Medicare.  Do I apply through WA Healthplanfinder?

No. For free, unbiased Medicare assistance, call Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) at 1(800) 562-6900.

To be covered on Jan. 1, 2016, I need to sign up by Dec. 23, 2015. If I sign up after that, will I pay a fine?

It depends. Talk to a Certified Navigator at PCHS by calling their office (360-377-3776) or meeting with them at Kitsap Regional Library.

Will the Certified Navigators at PCHS help me after the enrollment period closes?

Yes. Call their office at (360) 377-3776, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
