Most people think of the library as a place to borrow books; Kitsap Regional Library is that and so much more! ‘Checkout’ these under-the-radar services:
Personalized book recommendations: Looking for something fantastic to read? Ask a librarian! Stop by your local Library location, or take advantage of our online BookMatch program. Tell us a little bit about what you like (and hate!) to read and we’ll email you a list of five books chosen just for you.
One-on-one appointments: Do you have questions about your new device, researching a topic or finding grant resources? Make an Appointment with us and get personized answers to your questions.
Download ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and music: Our digital collection is available to you 24/7, anywhere you have an internet connection. You can print this guide to help you get started; if you have more questions take a look at OverDrive’s step-by-step videos, attend one of the hands-on workshops we offer at the Bainbridge Island location, or Make an Appointment.
Online access to Consumer Reports and more: The library subscribes to a number of vetted databases that you can use for free with your library card, including Consumer Reports. These databases are available to you with your library card 24/7 anywhere you have an internet connection.
There's a lot happening at your Library! Stop by in person or online and discover all we have to offer.
