The Kitsap Regional Library Foundation raises, manages, and allocates funds to support library programs which benefit all the communities that make up Kitsap County. The Foundation is the fundraising arm of Kitsap Regional Library and was established as a non-profit organization in 1991. Tax limitations, growth in library use, and rising costs have made it harder for the Library to provide quality service to its communities. The Foundation’s challenge is to seek funding to enhance library services and programs beyond the scope of tax-based funding.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Foundation is qualified to receive tax-deductible donations. The Foundation looks forward to future projects and to its continued support of the Library in its efforts to provide the best possible service to the citizens of Kitsap County.
