Why You Should Contribute

 Funds from the Foundation support and enhance the Library’s range of materials and programs for all ages. Your help will ensure that Kitsap County residents continue to enjoy the rich variety of services the Library offers.

Ways to Contribute to the Foundation

Annual Appeal: Spring brings The Foundation’s yearly appeal for funds. Please watch for your letter, and thank you for responding with a check; no donation is too small.

Donate anytime of the year by downloading the donation form available on this website. Fill it out and mail it off to The Kitsap Regional Library Foundation, 1301 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, WA. 98310. Many employers match employee contributions. Please take a moment to see if your employer is one of these.

A contribution in honor or in memory of a friend, a relative, a teacher or any other individual who has influenced your life in some special way is a lasting way to recognize their lives and their achievements and to memorialize your love and respect for them.

Charitable Lead Trust

Payments from this trust can be devoted to the Foundation for a period of time that you choose. The assets in the trust are then returned to you or others you designate.

A Permanent Endowment Fund is money invested to allow maximum returns while the earnings are dispersed to the Foundation. A gift to the endowment fund insures a permanent source of income for the Foundation.

You can contribute through bequests, stocks, bonds, cash or items of value, and you can also make the Foundation the beneficiary of an annuity or an insurance policy.

Levels of Giving

Benefactors: $5,000 or more

Patrons: $1,000 -- $4,999

Sponsor: $500 -- $999

Supporter: $100 -- $499

Contributor: $5 -- $99

The names of all donors will be displayed in the nine branches of the KRL System, listed in the annual report, and included in the Wall of Honor on this website. Supporters also receive a letter of appreciation, and Sponsors receive a certificate of appreciation suitable for framing. Patrons and Benefactors receive permanent recognition on the donor wall plaque located at the Sylvan Way Library in East Bremerton.
