April's film will be "Smoke Signals" (1998), directed by Chris Eyre. Adapted from his short story "This is What it Means to Say Phoenix, Arizona", the film features a screenplay written by award-winning Washington State author, Sherman Alexie. Victor and Thomas, young men from the Coeur D'Alene reservation, go on a road trip to retrieve the ashes of Victor's father, a man who had a lasting impact on both their lives, but in very different ways.
