[This session has been cancelled. Check back in summer for a Science Action Club camp]

Science Action club is a new opportunity for 5-8th graders at the Bainbridge Island Public Library. Developed by the California Academy of Sciences, this 12 week after-school club engages youth in hands-on projects and citizen-science activities focusing on arthropods. In this 12 week session, we will search for bugs on the library grounds, collect specimens and post our discoveries to iNaturalist, a citizen science project and online community for scientists and nature lovers.  We are looking for youth who love science and are full of curiosity for the natural world.

Registration required. Registration opens February 15th.  Space is limited to 20 participants. Youth must be able to attend all 12 Wednesday afternoons as the activities build from week to week.
