Kitsap Regional Library Foundation - Tax limitations, growth in library use and rising costs have made it harder for KRL to provide high-quality service. The KRL Foundation raises, manages and allocates funds to support library programs which benefit all the communities in Kitsap. Donations to the KRL Foundation are tax deductible.

Friends of the Library - Friends of the Library groups are organized at most library branches to promote the libraries in their communities. Through fundraising events such as book sales, Friends groups raise money for items not in the library's budget. If you are looking for a way to get involved in your community and if you love your library, consider joining the Friends group that supports your branch.

Give KRL a Hand: Volunteer - Hundreds of Kitsap residents volunteer each year to help KRL, donating hours worth more than $550,000 to the library system. Volunteers serve as technology tutors, support programs in our branches and help with system-wide projects and events. Most school districts now require high school students to perform community service tasks and the library is a great place for students to earn those hours.
