  1. When asked, type your entire card number without any spaces.
  2. If you have a valid library card and are still having a problem, please call your local library for assistance.

Why do I have to sign in?

The Research Databases listed on this page, sometimes called "databases", are premium websites that are paid for by the library. Our license agreements with the providers restrict access to individuals holding a valid KRL card. By entering your card number you agree to use the databases for your personal use only. You may not lend your card number or provide access to the database to anyone else.  If you are using a terminal in the library, you're automatically signed up.  If you are logging in from home, you'll need to enter your card number.

  • The most current versions of browsers, like XP's Service Pack 2, include pop-up browsers.  Although this protects you from pests, it also blocks some normal web site behaviors.  Fortunately, you can usually change the setting to allow pop-ups from selected sites. If you are using a recent version of Microsoft Explorer or have recently applied a patch or upgrade, click here to see how to modify your pop-up blocker.
