PSGS_logoKitsap Regional Library in partnership with the Puget Sound Genealogical Society provides a Genealogical Center at its Sylvan Way Branch. PSGS volunteers at the center can help you understand and use the genealogical resources available at KRL and in the special genealogical collection housed in the center.

The center's collection of books and family history manuscripts includes volumes and documents that you can use to trace family histories back to other states and other countries. Dedicated computers in the center give you access to online genealogical information, including KRL's subscription to Ancestry.com.

In addition, PSGS offers a series of classes to help you get going in genealogical research and presents monthly programs at their general membership meetings on genealogical research topics.

A list of upcoming events and classes sponsored by the Puget Sound Genealogical Society is part of KRL's online calendar.
