Can’t come to the library? We can come to you. We can bring books, audiobooks, and other library materials to your home. Call Outreach Services at 360-405-9123 to apply for any of these services.  


 

Home Delivery
Outreach Specialists deliver books, audio books on CD, music and movies right to your home every month. We can bring holds that you order online from the KRL catalog, or help you choose what to read next. . 
We provide free monthly delivery of library materials to individuals who have significant difficulty accessing service at a Library location. 
 
Collection Deposits
The Outreach Department provides and maintains depository collections of materials at a variety of non-library locations including nursing homes and senior housing units. Such collections are provided to a facility, not to individual patrons, and are delivered monthly to supplement reading materials for all residents. You do  not need to use a Library card when borrowing these books.

Q. How Do I Sign Up?
A. Print out the PDF application below, and mail it in. Or you can ask for an Outreach Services Application at the service desk in any one of Kitsap Regional Library's locations. An Outreach Specialist will contact you to discuss your application.

Q. When Will I Receive My Items?
A. Items are delivered on a monthly basis. Your Outreach Specialist will discuss the schedule with you at the start of your service.

Q. How Do I Find Out What Items Are Available for Borrowing?
A. We encourage those with internet access to use the KRL online catalog  to browse and place your own holds which the Outreach Specialist will then bring at your next scheduled delivery date.

Q. How Do I Cancel My Outreach Services Deliveries?
A. You may cancel your service at any time by calling your Outreach Specialist at 360-405-9123.

Q. Are There Any Fees for Outreach Services?
A. There are no additional fees. However, fees may be assessed, according to library policy, for lost or damaged items.
