New Website Coming October 6th

Kitsap Regional Library will be updating our website on October 6th. Our new website will be optimized for readability and usability on all devices, from smart phones to tablets to desktop computers. Your account, searching the online catalog and placing holds will not be affected by this update. If you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask us.

    Information on sex, relationships, alcohol & drugs, and more. Articles are written by trained teen staff members and the question forums are staffed by adult experts in the field.

    American Social Health Association’s website for teens with information on sexual health and relationships. Includes a good section on myths and facts.
  • Stay Teen
    Site from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. Includes statistics, advice and information on abstinence, birth control, and healthy relationships.
  • Go Ask Alice
    A general health Q&A resource produced by Columbia University. Search over 3,000 questions and answers by topic.
  • Scarleteen
    The site’s mission is to provide nonjudgmental information on teen sexuality for teens who are sexually active as well as those who choose abstinence.
  • Teen Wire
    The teen page of Planned Parenthood that provides information on body basics, abstinence, safer sex, and dealing with break ups. It also provides referrals to local clinics.
  • National HIV and STD Testing Resources
    Information on HIV and STDs from the Center for Disease Control, as well as a tool to find a HIV and STD testing centers near you.
