Our Summer Reading program has expanded this year! Yes, we still want to encourage and celebrate readers and reading but we also want to highlight the learning that happens at home, at the library, on a cool website, and in our community.
How does this program work?
Register at any Kitsap Regional Library location starting June 2nd and receive a tracker that will help you keep track of your reading and learning. Complete 10 hours of reading and receive a free paperback book as well as a ticket to the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede (while supplies last).
Read 100 hours to receive a Summer of Learning t-shirt (while supplies last). Complete the additional learning activities listed on the tracker to be entered into a raffle for a new tablet computer.
We also have events for all ages, all summer, from standard favorites like storytime to family events, elementary geared STEAM classes, and teen field trips. See a full listing of events below. Please note that many events may require pre-registration, please contact your local library for details. Pre-registration for all events will begin on June 2nd.
Have questions or need further information?
A special thank you to the Friends of the Library, Kitsap Regional Library Foundation, Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe and Kitsap County Fair and Stampede for helping to make this program possible.
