Forster. Part romance, part critique of English society, the story follow an upper-middle-class girl named Lucy, who meets an interesting young man while on holiday in Italy, but must decide on accepting the engagement proposal of the snobbish suitor back home or take her chances on love and more uncertain life.

The classic adventure novel published in 1872 follows British gentleman Phileas Fogg, whose orderly life is disrupted when he takes a bet that it is possible to circumnavigate the world in exactly eighty days due to technological advances. Accompanied by his new valet, Jean Passepartout, the two men race across oceans and continents, engaging in adventures and hijinks along the way.
