Explore the great classics of western literature.

July's title is "The Odyssey" by Homer. Leaving the Iliad behind, we embark on the Odyssey, the second epic attributed to Homer. Following the story of Odysseus, the Greek hero of the Trojan War, who sets out on a voyage to return home to his wife, but due his actions angering the sea god Poseidon, finds himself waylaid and setback at every turn.

June's title is "The Iliad" by Homer. "The Iliad" remains one of the most important works of literature in the Western cannon. Attributed to the poet Homer, the ancient Greek epic tells the story of Trojan War through the glimpse of a few key weeks. Dive in and discuss what many consider to be the first and finest war story to ever be told.
