Join us at Fay Bainbridge Beach Shelter for an outdoor, socially-distanced storytime designed to build early literacy skills through stories, rhymes, songs and full-body movement. In partnership with Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District.

Family Storytime

Join us in the branch for a morning of song, stories, and rhyme to promote early literacy for our youngest patrons. Attendance will be limited to the first 20 youth and their caregivers to allow for social distancing and is first come, first served! Bring a blanket to sit on and plan to wear a mask if you're 2 or older!

Baby Storytime

Join us inside the branch for a morning of song, stories, and rhyme to promote early literacy for our youngest patrons. Attendance will be limited to the first 10 babies and their caregivers to allow for social distancing and is first come, first served! Bring a blanket to sit on. Everyone 2 years and older will be asked to mask up as we will be indoors. 

Outdoor Toddler Pumpkin Painting

Come dressed for the weather and listen to a seasonal story and paint a little pumpkin to take home! Rain or shine in the lower parking lot of the library! Registration required for supplies.

Storytime in Evergreen Park

Encourage your child’s love of reading with an outdoor, socially-distanced storytime designed to build early literacy skills through stories, songs, rhymes and full-body movement. Bring something to sit on. In partnership with Bremerton Parks & Recreation.

Outdoor Family Storytime

Join us in the field south of the branch for a morning of song, stories, and rhyme to promote early literacy for our youngest patrons. Attendance will be limited to the first 15 youth and their caregivers to allow for social distancing and is first come, first served! Bring a blanket to sit on, rain or shine!

Outdoor Explorers: Interactive StoryWalk®

Poulsbo Parks and Recreation joins with the Library to offer an opportunity for kids and families to experience a story in a new way. During the month of October, families can visit Raab Park to: engage with a story experience nature learn local history and more! After experiencing the StoryWalk®, stop by the Poulsbo branch to pick up a take-home activity during open hours, Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
