Puget Sound Genealogy Center - Sylvan Way
In partnership with the Puget Sound Genealogical Society, Kitsap Regional Library provides access to the Puget Sound Genealogy Center at the Sylvan Way branch.
Volunteers from Puget Sound Genealogical Society can help you utilize and understand the genealogical resources available at the Library and within their unique genealogical collection housed in the Center. The Puget Sound Genealogical Society also offers monthly classes to help you get started in your genealogical research and presents monthly programs at their general membership meetings. Special Microfilm Collection
Explore documents, fire maps and local newspapers dating back to the early 1900s, including Bremerton News, Bremerton Searchlight, Bremerton Sun, The Bainbridge Island Review, The Kitsap Herald, Port Orchard Independent and Kitsap Sun. Microfilm archives are available at the Bainbridge Island and Sylvan Way branches.
