The Science of Art: Museum of Glass Pre-Visit Workshop

Create a tool to shape glass and head out on a field trip to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. Science of Art is a multiple day, in-class program. Museum of Glass educators visit the classroom with three 50-minute lessons (two lessons prior to the field trip and one afterward) developed using the Next Generation Science Standards and the Washington State Arts Standards. Pre-visits and post-visits held at Sylvan Way, Port Orchard, and Bainbridge Island Branches.
