Bainbridge Island StoryWalk

Stroll through the pages of a story at Grand Forest East, anytime during park hours. Pick up an activity kit from the Bainbridge Island branch. In partnership with Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District and Washington Talking Book & Braille Library. Patrons who are unable to read standard print due to visual impairment, physical disability, or reading disability can request accommodation from the Library.

Discovery Play Days: StoryWalk "At the Marsh in the Meadow"

Stroll through the pages of a book while exploring a local marsh ecosystem and enjoy fun learning activities with an activity kit. Activity kits can be picked up at the Silverdale branch during open hours. Discovery Play Days are presented in partnership with the Clear Creek Trail Task Force.  

Drive-in Storytime at the Kitsap Regional Library Foundation Block Party

Park your car and tune into the FM station provided to enjoy a lively reading of “Hiking Day” by Anne Rockwell. Each car will receive a copy of the book to follow along in—and keep!—along with a snack pack to keep the munchies at bay! Stroll through the pages of a book at Old Mill Park and explore our local waterfront ecosystem with the help of an activity kit. Activity kits can be picked up at the Silverdale branch during open hours. Discovery Play Days are presented in partnership with the Clear Creek Trail Task Force. When exploring the shore, wear beach walking shoes or boots, and don't forget your sunscreen! The Clear Creek Trail Task Force and WSU Extension Beach Naturalists have made it possible for families to sign up for personal 20-minute tours of the intertidal zone on Wednesday, June 23, 10:30 a.m.- noon. qa'qad Stormwater Park StoryWalk®

Stroll through the pages of a book in Manchester's qa'qad Stormwater Park.  Pick up an activity kit at the Manchester branch (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday).  This program is offered in partnership with the Stormwater Division of Kitsap County Public Works, and with the support of the Friends of Manchester Library.   The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
