Summer Learning

Every summer, Kitsap Regional Library invites the community to participate in a self-paced reading and learning experience. Summer Learning supports equal opportunity education through reading and learning during summer break for school-age children and teens. For adults, Summer Learning provides an engaging platform to participate in a self-selected learning activity while expanding reading interests.

How do I participate?
Visit us online or in-person starting on June 1 to start your Summer Learning adventure.

Read 10 or 100 hours and use our print or digital tracker to record your progress. Earn fun prizes for reaching your goal. Kids and teens earn their very own book for completing 10 hours of reading, while adults win a new prize every year! Read 100 hours to make your way to a 100-Hour Reader T-shirt.

Learn More
Choose something you want to learn, plan ahead and try it! Tell us about your experience through our digital or printed tracker to earn a ticket for our end-of-summer grand prize drawings.
