The annual Kitsap Regional Library Summer Learning program offers self-paced reading and learning experiences for all ages. Summer Learning supports equal opportunity education through engaging reading and learning activities for school-age children and teens during summer break. Summer Learning also provides an engaging platform to participate in a self-selected learning activity and expand reading interests for adults.

Learning Challenge

Create your plan to soak in the season by writing down goals in your summer tidepool, or choose from our suggestions. Then, share your story in the summer field notes in your booklet to enter the end-of-summer prize drawing.

End-of-Summer Prize Drawing

To enter the drawing, write your story in the Summer Field Notes and fill out the entry form in your Summer Learning Guide. Turn in your completed form to any branch. One of each prize will be awarded at every branch.

Switch It Up

Score a Nintendo Switch Lite and a $70 download card or a new game.

Audiobooks count for summer reading challenges!

Seattle Storm

New this year, youth 10-hour finishers receive a voucher for two tickets to a local game. Tickets are limited to four youth, up to eight tickets per household, while supplies last.

Youth transit is free with an ORCA card or student ID. For more information on free public transportation in Seattle on game day, visit seattlestorm.com.

Youth Ride Free!

Anyone 18 or under can ride for free on buses, ferries, and trains across the Puget Sound using a student ID or a Youth ORCA card. Learn more and get a free Youth ORCA card by visiting FreeYouthTransitPass.com.

What happened in this sea-son of learning and discovery? Share your stories and photos with us online! Then, fill out the summer field notes in your booklet and turn in the page at any branch to enter the end-of-summer prize drawing.
