Mini-Monet Take and Make Kit

Pick up a kit that contains everything you need to create your own garden-inspired work of art. Return the painting to the Kingston or Little Boston Library by July 8th to be part of an upcoming mini-art exhibit.

We've Got Worms!

Families will want to welcome worms into their garden after learning about vermicomposting and the wonders of worms at our all-ages workshop. In partnership with Kitsap County Public Works. 

Artistic Adventurers

Set yourself up for summer success with clever crafts and outdoor science. Artists will make their own Summer Art Journal to chronicle the incredible flora and fauna they encounter on thier adventures. Summer activity spinners will help keep boredom at bay and DIY compasses will help them navigate their adventures.

Mini Maestros

Children ages 4-8 will learn basic elements of music and enjoy active musical play that benefits early literacy and STEM skills at this storytime alternative. Attendance is limited to the first 20 participants per program. There will be two programs each Thursday, the first from 10:00-10:30, the second from 10:45-11:15.

Discovery Play Day: Birds & Wildlife Sleuthing

Who's hopping around? Enjoy stories, crafts, and trail exploration when we become wildlife detectives and search for clues of wildlife, especially birds. Join us at the Clear Creek Trail Ridgetop Pavilion. 

Growing Vegetables

Plant seeds and learn how to take care of your vegetables as they grow. Decorate a marker to show what you’re growing. Wear something that can get dirty.

Summer Celebration

Kickoff the Summer Learning Program with messy crafts and games on the lawn. Fun for the whole family. 

Paint & Plant

Paint and decorate a tiny pot. Then learn how to plant a seed and how to take care of your new plant.

Kingston Village Green StoryWalk®

Every Saturday in June, stroll through the Village Green Park for a fun and creative way to combine early literacy and a healthy activity. Famiies can: engage with a story experience nature practice early learning skills and more! The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
