Passport to the World is your look into different places and cultures. Hear stories and tales from other counties. Create arts and crafts inspired by different cultures. Dance along to music from all over the globe. Discover games and activities that kids around the world play. Expand your worldview as you discover the world around you.

Family Holiday Origami Ornaments

Families are invited to create unique ornaments together. Youth ages 8+ and their adults will make an origami figure placed inside a clear globe. This program will be led by artist Shirley Sakatani Skifstad.

Family Print Making Workshop: Birds

Create your own bird print! Together with their adults, youth ages 8+ will learn about winter birds and folk art, then create decorations using relief printing methods. Program will be led by artist and instructor Jacquelyn Speare, M.S.Ed. Materials provided.

Children's March for Peace & Kindness

Honor the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Write letters to the leaders of your choice, asking them to work for peace or thanking them for acts of kindness. Then we'll march to the post office to mail our letters. Bring posters or banners from home. All ages.

Kids can make a difference.  Join us to learn about our One Book, One Community theme and create special items for kits filled with essentials for people in need.
