Seasonal Greeting Cards

Celebrate winter with festive crafts! Make your own heartfelt cards to send season’s greetings to loved ones. Space and supplies are limited to the first 25 participants. Ideal for kids ages 4-8. Read to a Dog

Come practice your reading skills and gain confidence reading out loud to friendly therapy dogs.

Builders' Club

Build up and take down structures using building materials of your choice, from LEGO to wooden blocks. All materials will be provided by the library.

Kitsap Salmon Tours Kickoff - Grovers Creek Hatchery

Join some of your favorite Youth Services Librarians in celebrating the return of salmon to our local creeks! Entertaining learning activities will help youth understand the life cycle of salmon and the importance of this keystone species. New to the tour this year, Grovers Creek Hatchery provides a unique opportunity to observe salmon at various life stages, from eggs to returning adults!  In partnership with WSU Extension Kitsap Salmon Tours. Drive-in Movie: Coco

Children will transform cardboard boxes into cool cars and join Miguel on a magical journey through the land of his ancestors to bring his family together through music. Boxes and supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own box from home. Attendance limited to the first 30 participants. 

Recycling Adventures

Join WM for an in-person recycling adventure: go on a recycling scavenger hunt and learn about the life cycle of a book from start to finish. Celebrate America Recycles Day (November 15th) by learning about various ways to recycle well-loved older books to give them a new life and about the best items to recycle at home.
