An Afternoon at the Ballet: Giraffes Can't Dance

Peninsula Dance Theatre will bring this book to life with lightfooted rhythms and dance. This special performance by Peninsula Dance Theatre is designed to introduce ballet to children on the Kitsap Peninsula. The story, combined with classical music, explores the imaginations of young minds through dance. The performance will run approximately 30 minutes followed by Q and A.

Kitsap Eco Kids: Salmon StoryWalk®

Families can enjoy Kitsap Salmon Tours independently by strolling through the pages of "Run Salmon Run" by Bobs & Lolo at Dickerson Creek Salmon Haven. Engaging story and interactive elements will help young children understand the salmon lifecycle and the importance of this keystone species.  This program is offered in partnership with the Stormwater Division of Kitsap County Public Works.  The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.  

Block Party!

Build up and take down structures using materials of your choice, from LEGO to wooden blocks. The Library will provide all materials.
