Winter Wonderland StoryWalk

Enjoy the picture book A Perfect Day while walking along Winslow Way. Find the pages of the story in the windows of partnering businesses, then finish your walk at the Bainbridge Island branch to pick up your StoryWalk® activity kit. All Ages. Engage with a story Support local businesses Learn local history Explore! Start the Winter Wonderland StoryWalk at the Wildernest Outdoor Store. Walk down Winslow Way E, passing Calico Toy Shoppe, B.I. Barkery, Blackbird Bakery, Petit & Olson and Tartaglia Fine Art. After coming to Relic, cross the street and walk the opposite direction past Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, Eagle Harbor Book Co., Heart and finish the StoryWalk at Esther’s Fabrics.

"Dragons Love Tacos" Opera Sing-along Storytime

Poulsbo Parks and Recreation joins with the Library to offer an opportunity for kids and families to experience a story in a new way. Over a two week period, families can visit a local park to: engage with a story experience nature dig deeper into science learn local history and more! After experiencing the StoryWalk®, stop by the Poulsbo branch to pick up a take-home activity during open hours, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Or, download the activities associated with the StoryWalk® story from home: Book Spread Activities Storywalk Activity Kit Additional Resources The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
