Teen Truth Tea Time

Teen Truth Tea Time is back! Join us for a thoughtful discussion on current issues. We provide the tea, you provide the conversation. 

Let's get crafty

Flex your artistic muscles with a new art or craft or DIY project at each program. Together we'll create some easy, fun art projects you can take home with you. If you have a suggestion for an art project, we want to hear it. Email koconnor@klr.org or stop by the Silverdale branch to drop off your suggesiton. 

Teen Vibes Only

Teens take over the Library on Thursday early release afternoons!  Whether you need a quiet spot to work on homework, a place to hang with friends or an easy activity to destress from school we've got you covered. 

Game Day

Board games, video games, tabletop games, card games, we've got them all! Play your favorite or learn something brand new during this afternoon game-a-palooza. Attendance limited to first 20 participants. 

Build an Adventurer

You have chosen to set out on an epic quest. You have your mission, you have your gear, now all you need is the perfect character! Learn how to roll up a character for your next D&D adventure. All supplies provided. Attendance limited to first 20 participants.

Silverdale Teen Advisory Board

We want to know what you want from the new Library! Teen Advisory Board is a leadership group for teens that helps shape the Library. Share your passions, plan future programs  and make your mark on the community. 

Teen Interview Prep

In a 30 minute session, we'll review your resume and go over some standard interview questions. Feel confident walking into your next interview with our help. Registration is required and we will send a personalized Zoom link after registration. 

Teen Crafting

Pick up supplies at the Port Orchard branch and join us for a relaxed crafting hour. Creativity encouraged!  April 25: Make your own seedlings May 23: Create Pride decorations

FAFSA and WASFA Drop-In Help

Thinking about graduation and next steps? Have you completed your FAFSA or WASFA yet? You can complete a FAFSA to receive federal and state financial aid or a WASFA to receive Washington State aid for college as well as job training! We will be here to help you between 2-4 every Wednesday in January. Please review the link to make sure you bring the correct documents with you, https://studentaid.gov/help/info-needed
