The Library does not issue daily charges for overdue items.
An item is considered lost 21 days after the final due date, and a replacement fee will be added to your account, as outlined within our Fee Schedule and Fee Library Policy. If the item is returned within one year, the replacement fee will be removed, or a refund will be issued, as outlined in the schedule and policy documents linked above.
As a courtesy, email notices are sent before the due dates.
How to Pay Fees and Fines Online for Lost or Damaged Items
- Log in to your account at KRL.org, opens a new window.
- Any fees owed will be displayed on your library dashboard
- Under the My Borrowing menu from the top right of the screen, select Fees.
- A colored indicator at the top of the Fees page displays the total amount owed.
- Tap the Pay All Fees button.
- Tap Pay with PayPal or Pay with Credit or Debit Card.
- Fill out the necessary information to complete the payment.
